System Administrative Unit (SAU)

The System Administrative Unit (SAU) is used primarily by the UC Budget Office to identify systemwide programs. 

It is a primary key (required field) of UC Account (along with location). One character; required field for budget information. Indicates whether the account is one of the following:

  • 0 - Campus
  • 4 - Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources
  • 5 - University-Wide Academic Programs
